The Glatt Group was established in 1954 in Binzen, Germany by Werner Glatt.  At this time, Glatt was engaged in a close cooperation with pharmaceutical companies to introduce fluid bed technologies for drying, granulation and coating, as state-of-the-art technologies for the manufacturing of pharmaceutical solid dosage forms.  Within a short period of time, Glatt developed its worldwide business and today, acts a full-scope supplier to the pharmaceutical industry. 
 
For more than 50 years, Glatt has and continues to successfully supply integrated process technology and equipment for the manufacturing of solid oral dosage forms.
 
At present, Glatt can provide a diverse range of engineered solutions ranging from high quality processing equipment up to a fully-integrated pharmaceutical facility including turn-key engineering services.
 
The Glatt Group employs today a workforce of over 1500 employees at its Global Alliance Locations, and also works with over 50 permanent agencies which act as local points of contact for customers around the world.
